-What a gorgeous day, finally some sun, eh!
-Now that I've picked a goal, it is time to schedule the next 3 months and then meet that schedule. I will be developing a spread sheet to identify, and tabulate, the 4 disciplines.
-Bottom line, I have a pretty good base in paddling and pedaling, no base in swimming, and, as stated yesterday, I will not be doing any running.
-Also to be remembered is this is not to be a race, I hope to get to a fitness level that allows me to 'enjoy' the 3 hours of pain.
-So far, since Saturday--the official start--I have one swim (250 meters), two pedals (30kms and 40kms) and two paddles (90 minutes-C1 and 70 minutes-C2)
Mentally I am feeling very positive because of the nice comments I received and also this morning's ride left me with a high. I am a goal oriented person, and for the first time in a long time, I am working toward a goal.
