Three (3) weeks down, eleven (11) weeks to go.

It's been a disjointed week:

-Highlights included a 3 hour paddle July 1st, coming out the Shubie Canal lock system, Lake Banook to the Marina.
-Also, now swimming 1km sessions, having done 2 this week.

-Lowlight?----reality driven in (again) that 'humidy' is not handled well by my system (Well documented in Baxter State Park, Parc de Gaspesie , and a training ride last year) Planned 60km morning ride to Windsor wes shortened to 40kms, after biking the 1 1/2 hour climb to Ardoise. Did not make any sense to fight through it and possibly ruin training to date. :-(

-Drank 3 liters of fluid on course (plus 1 before start) and still could not keep hydrated.

-Referreeing 5 or 6 basketball games this weekend which will effect training--call it cross-training I gues-plan to concentrate on swims this week, while biking and kayak twice each, probably evenings or before Tour de France broadcasts each morning.

Nice to see the SUN again, eh?

Stats for the week:

Swim(2 x 1kms), Bike (2 x 40,35kms), Paddle (3 x 1.5,1.25,3.0 hours)

Sad news, Brazil gone, Agassi gone, Yankees lose(again), Harper and Bush still in power, and Le Tour in a drug fiasco.

Ah, but life goes on, where's my bike.

Cheers
