The weather is rediculous. I went out for a ride at 8:00 am this morning-(Saturday). After yesterdays torrential rains, the sky was quite clear and the road dry.
Ten kms into the ride and I was a ball of sweat---and this was to be 25kms at at race pace--tough it out I guess. Checked the weather when I got home and it was 100% humidity--how can that be and it is not raining? I hate humidity and don't perform well to say the least.
Basically pleased with the week and feel I have nice base, and no injuries- 4 good rides, 2 swims, and 2 paddles.
Now that the Tour de France (Wembledon, British Open, etc) is over, Nancy and I have our mornings back.
We hope to get:
-some work done around the house.
-some camping/travelling done.
-really get a serious schedule set up for the next month----doing double ups, increase in distances and intensities, and look at discipline transitions (I'm going to be slow enough doing the stuff, no sense losing time in between)

Mini Bruce does his laps in the tub.

While G-Diddy does his at the local swimming hole on the Cobequid Road.
